I really like when phrases are suggested that we can use to help facilitate transitions. I will use the symptom management suggestions for end-stage kidney disease (ESKD). It is a good reminder that for all of the categories of end-stage disease – pain is almost universal. I will remember that, especially with patients who cannot articulate.
Family physician
LEAP In-Depth learner
This course applies directly to my practice. I learned how to have a better palliative approach in patients with end-stage renal disease and debilitating neurological disorders. Overall, this was a great course! I learned a lot.
